Church life should be simple. Gather. Fellowship. Worship.
Refuge is a gathering of Christians who meet in the American Legion Hall at Forsythe Park in Monroe for the purpose of building a stronger relationship with God and the community around us. Our weekly Bible studies and Sunday services are led by David Brown, Ph.D., pastor, church planter & adjunct professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Monroe. David is a New Testament scholar with a pastor’s heart for our community and the study of God’s word. We invite you to join us!
As parents, you can breathe easy knowing your kids are safe and secure while having fun, and discovering more about God’s Word. Your child will have a blast at Refuge in the Park! Each Sunday, the lesson includes a nifty craft and much love for Christ.
Sundays are filled with fellowship, contemporary worship and solid doctrinal teaching from the scripture by David Brown. Our worship leader and discipleship pastor, Brady Bachhofer will lead us in songs of praise and understanding about the greatness of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Governor Edwards has returned the state to a modified Phase 2. We will continue meeting for worship in the American Legion Hall, Forsythe Park on Sundays at 10:30am.
On Thursdays, Bible studies will also continue at 7pm.
Please check your emails, website and our Facebook page for any announcements or updates.
Can't wait to see you soon! We love you all.
